Conference: Critical Infrastructure Interdependencies: A "System of Systems" Approach'

The research training group KRITIS (associated with EINS) hosted a scientific conference on 14-15 November entitled 'Critical Infrastructure Interdependencies: A "System of Systems" Approach'. The conference was dedicated to the issues arising from the inherently interconnected nature of critical infrastructures, including energy and communication networks.
The event brought together experts from different continents working in a wide range of scientific disciplines such as political science, history, civil, electrical and space engineering, etc.
Prof. Dr. Florian Steinke, the head of EINS, moderated the conference panel on 'Transformation and Management of Power Grids and Related Networks', which highlighted different perspectives of engineering and legal experts on the topic. One of the presentations on the panel was given by Dr. Allan Santos, an EINS alumnus.
